Refreshing and light, this pasta is going to conquer your taste buds.
SHRIMP AND ASPARAGUS SPAGHETTI

1 pound spaghetti
½ small onion, grated
4 crushed garlic cloves
1 pound shrimps (fresh or frozen)
½ cup white wine
2 cups chopped asparagus
juice of 1 lemon
1 tbs. olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
fresh chopped basil to garnish
1 - In a large saucepan, put water and 1 tbs. Salt. Bring to a boil (see pasta packing instructions to determine the amount of water and cooking time).
2 - Mix onion and garlic with a pinch of salt.
3 - Heat olive oil and add onion and garlic. Leave for a few minutes and put shrimps.
4 - After 2-3 minutes, add wine and asparagus (in high heat) and allow the mixture to dry.
5 - Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6 - Add cooked pasta and lemon, mixing well.
7 - Finish with chopped basil.
- Instead of asparagus, you can use (or add) broccoli, zucchini or eggplant.
- If you like, add red pepper strips.
- To make the dish tastier, add olive oil or a tablespoon of butter after turn off the heat.
- To make the recipe even healthier, use whole-wheat pasta.
